Enable or Disable Face Detection in Time Clock | Jolt App

This guide will help you enable or disable automatic face detection for clocking in and out in the Time Clock section of the Jolt App.

Prerequisites

  • The option to enable or disable face detection is available only to users with Device Admin access. Refer to the article Role-based Admin Access for more information.

Steps to Enable or Disable Face Detection

  1. Open the Jolt App

    • Navigate to Settings and then select Timeclock.

  2. Configure Clock Punch Pictures

    • Clock Punch Pictures: Requires employees to have a picture taken while clocking in or out.

  3. Enable or Disable Face Detection

    • Face Detection: Ensures that a face must be visible before clocking in or out.

    • Enabled settings will be highlighted in blue.

    • Disabled settings will be shown as greyed out.

  4. Adjust Settings

    • To Enable Face Detection: Toggle the option to blue.

    • To Disable Face Detection: Toggle the option to greyed out.

Additional Information

  • Enabled Settings: Indicate that the feature is active and will require facial recognition.

  • Disabled Settings: Indicate that the feature is not active, and face detection will not be required.

By following these steps, you can manage face detection settings to ensure that your Time Clock function meets your security and operational requirements.
