Advanced Jolt App Settings Guide

1. Accessing Settings:

  • Open the Jolt App: Launch the Jolt app on your device.

  • Go to Settings: Tap the Settings icon.

2. General Settings:

  • About:

    • View info about your Company, Content Group, Location, Device, App Version, and OS Version.

    • Reset App: Re-download location info.

    • Change Location: Scan a new location QR Code to switch locations.

  • Test Connection:

    • Tap Test to check if your device is connected to Jolt.

  • System Volume:

    • Adjust the volume for alarms and timeclock punches.

  • Show In-App Notifications:

    • Toggle to show notifications within the app.

  • Shared Device:

    • Enable if multiple employees use the tablet. Keep off for personal devices.

  • Show Offline Message Indicator:

    • Shows a banner if your device is offline. Helps you know when you need to reconnect.

  • Check for Updates:

    • Tap Check for updates to download and install app updates.

3. Timeclock Settings:

  • Clock Punch Pictures:

    • Toggle to enable or disable camera for clock-in/out photos.

  • Clock Punch Sound:

    • Toggle to enable or disable sound for clock-in/out.

  • Face Detection:

    • Enable to require a visible face for clock-in/out.

  • Announcements:

    • Toggle to enable or disable announcements.

4. Scheduling Settings: (Refer to other guides for specific scheduling settings.)

5. Lists Settings:

  • Show Task Lists Early:

    • Toggle to display checklists and forms early.

  • Tasks Due Alert:

    • Enable an alarm to notify when a list is due. Check the Sound Alerts article for details.

  • Tasks Display Alert:

    • Enable an alarm to sound when a list displays. See the Sound Alerts article for more info.

6. Printers Settings:

  • Connect a Printer:

    • Follow prompts to add and configure a printer. Refer to the Label Sizes and Settings article for more details.
