Settings | Jolt App
This guide will help you navigate and understand the various settings available in the Jolt App. You’ll learn how to customize your device’s settings to enhance your user experience.
Accessing Settings
Open the Jolt App on your device.
Tap the Settings icon located in the bottom left corner of the app.
Note: Only a Device Admin can update settings in the Jolt App. For more details on roles, refer to the Role-based Admin Access article.
Settings Menu Overview
General Settings
About: View information about your device and the Jolt App. This includes the app version and other device details.
Test Connection to Jolt: Check if your device is properly connected to Jolt.
System Volume: Adjust the master volume for the Jolt app.
Show In-App Notifications: Toggle notifications on or off within the app.
Shared Device: Enable this if the tablet is used by multiple employees. For personal devices, disable this setting to prevent automatic logouts.
Show Offline Message Indicator: Display a banner when the device is offline or does not have an internet connection.
Check for Updates: Ensure your app is updated to the latest version.
Timeclock Settings
Enable/Disable Picture Taking: Choose whether to allow taking pictures during clock in/out.
Clock Punch In Sound: Toggle the sound alert for clocking in and out.
Face Detection: Enable or disable face detection for clocking in.
Announcements: Set up announcements to be played when employees clock in or out.
Scheduling Settings
Enable/Disable Scheduling Tab: Choose whether the scheduling tab appears on your device.
Lists Settings
Show Task Lists Early: Decide if task lists should be visible before their scheduled time.
Task Due Alerts: Set alerts to notify you when a task is due or when a new list is available.
Alert Type: Choose between notification sounds or spoken text for alerts.
Printers Settings

Locations Settings
Switch Locations: Change between existing locations or add a new one. For guidance, refer to the Location Switching In The Jolt App and Connect a Device to a Location | Standard articles.
Feedback
Submit Feedback: Provide suggestions or request new features for the Jolt App.
