Enabling Sound Alerts for the Jolt App
Learn how to enable or disable sound alerts for lists on the Jolt App. Only a Device Admin can update these settings. For more information about admin roles, refer to the article Role-based Admin Access.
Steps to Enable or Disable Sound Alerts
Open the Jolt App
Login with your 4-digit PIN.
Navigate to Settings
Select Settings from the main menu.
Choose Lists.
Configure Sound Alerts
There are three separate alerts that can be enabled or disabled for the device:
Show Tasks Lists Early
Description:
When enabled, checklists scheduled to appear between now and the selected time will appear immediately.
This setting affects all tablets at the location.
How to Enable:
Enable this option to pop up a display time to choose.
Task Due Alert
Description:
Creates an audible alert shortly before checklists become overdue.
How to Enable:
Clicking this option will open a page where you can choose the sound for the alert and set the time frame it will play before the checklist becomes due.
Tasks Display Alert
Description:
Creates an alert when a list is displayed.
How to Enable:
Select Set to choose the sound or spoken text for the alert.
