Overview

The Jolt App helps employees complete tasks, view schedules, and track work efficiently. This guide walks you through setting up the app on your personal or shared work device so you can get started quickly.

Download & Install

  • Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).

  • Search for "Jolt", look for the green and blue lightning bolt, and download it.

  • Open the app after installation.

Logging In

On the login screen, you have two options:

Use your email and password to log in, then choose between Personal Device Mode (stays logged in) or Shared Device Mode (requires a 4-digit PIN for access).

Connect to a Location

Scan a QR code provided by an admin to log in. Devices logged in using a QR code will always be set to Shared Device Mode, requiring users to log in and out with a 4-digit PIN.

Basic Navigation

To navigate the Jolt App, tap the three-line menu icon in the top left corner. This opens the main menu, where you can access different sections based on your role and account setup.

Some key sections to be aware of:

Home – View currently assigned tasks and work orders.

Schedule – View upcoming shifts and request time off if enabled.

Lists – Access and complete assigned checklists.

Logbook – Leave and review notes for managers and teammates.

Settings – Manage app preferences and device configurations.

Signing Out & Switching Device Modes

Personal Mode

  • To sign out, tap your initials or profile picture in the top-right corner.

  • Select Sign Out to log out of your session.

  • You’ll be returned to the login screen where you can choose between Sign In and Connect to a Location.

Shared Device Mode

If using a shared device, always log yourself out by tapping log out in the top right corner. Your log-in will also time out automatically after inactivity based on the timer in the top right corner.
