How to Clock In/Out for an Employee as an Admin

As a Device Admin, you can manually clock in or out for employees if the Time Clock settings restrict them from doing so. This guide will walk you through the steps to perform this task using the Jolt App.

Steps to Clock In/Out for an Employee

  1. Log in to the Jolt App
    Ensure you’re logged in with a profile that has Device Admin access.

  2. Access the Time Clock Tab
    Go to the Time Clock tab within the app.

  3. Select the Employee
    Choose the employee you need to clock in or out from the list.

  4. Clock In/Out

    • For Clocking In: Have the employee press "Clock In" while facing the camera, if required by the Time Clock settings.

    • For Clocking Out: Repeat the same steps to clock the employee out.

  5. Resolve Flagged Punches

    • If an early Clock In is flagged, you'll need to address this on the Jolt Web Portal before exporting Time Clock data for payroll.

    • Follow the necessary steps to approve flagged punches.
