How to View and Export Labor Reports in the Jolt Web Portal

Overview: Labor Reports in the Jolt Web Portal pull data from the Time Clock to calculate total hours, total pay, and, if enabled, overtime hours and overtime pay. Flagged punches are not included in these calculations.


โ€‹Prerequisites: To view Labor Reports, you must have one of the following admin settings:

  • Reports Admin

  • Location Website Admin

  • Content Group Admin

  • Company Admin

Steps to View and Export Labor Reports:

  1. Login and Navigation:

    • Log in to the Jolt Web Portal.

    • Navigate to Time Clock then Labor Reports.

  2. Navigate and Filter:

    • Use the navigation options to switch between different pay periods.

    • Apply filters to view different employees' data.

  3. Filter Columns:

    • Click on the column headers for hours and pay to sort the data from low to high.

    Note: Data for employees who are still clocked in will not be complete.

  4. Export Report:

    • Ensure all punches are resolved and all employees are clocked out.

    • Click Export Report to download the data.

    • Upload the exported report to your payroll system.

  5. Compare Pay Periods:

    • Select Compare to Previous Pay Period to view variances from other pay periods.

    • This view is filtered identically to the standard page.

    • Compare the pay periods to see the variances.

  6. Compare to Schedule:

    • Select Compare to Schedule to view variances between actual recorded hours and scheduled hours.

    • This will show the difference between hours published on the Jolt Schedule Builder and hours recorded by the Jolt Time Clock.

Q: Who can view Labor Reports?

A: Users with admin settings such as Reports Admin, Location Website Admin, Content Group Admin, or Company Admin.

Q: How are overtime hours and pay calculated?

A: Total and overtime hours can be calculated without setting up pay rates, but for overtime pay calculations, both overtime hours and pay rates must be set up.

Q: What happens if there are flagged punches?

A: Flagged punches are not calculated in the report. A notice will appear if there are existing flagged punches that may affect the Labor Report.

Q: How do I export the Labor Report?

A: After resolving all punches and ensuring everyone is clocked out, click Export Report and then upload it to your payroll system.
