How to Manually Clock In/Out in the Jolt App

Overview: If an employee forgets to clock in or out, they can manually record their time in the Jolt App. This feature requires the Allow Manual Punches setting to be enabled.


โ€‹Steps to Manually Clock In/Out:

  1. Enable Manual Punches:

    • Ensure that the Allow Manual Punches setting is enabled in Location Settings. Refer to the Time Clock Settings article for more details.

  2. Access Time Clock:

    • Open the Jolt App on your device.

    • Go to the Time Clock tab and select your profile.

  3. Select Forgot to Clock In/Out:

    • In the Time Clock window, choose Forgot to Clock In or Forgot to Clock Out.

  4. Correct the Time:

    • Adjust the time to when you actually started or stopped working.

  5. Enter a Reason:

    • Provide a reason for the missed clock in/out.

  6. Submit Clock In/Out:

    • Select Clock In or Clock Out to record your time.

  • Flagged Entries: Manual clock-ins/outs will be flagged and appear in red on the web portal. These entries must be approved by a Location Website Admin.
