ThermoWork Probes | Troubleshooting Guide

If you’re having trouble with your ThermoWork Probe, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue. These steps should help you resolve common problems before seeking further assistance.

1. Update Your App and Operating System

  • Ensure that your Jolt App and the operating system on your device are updated to the latest versions. Updates often fix bugs and improve compatibility.

2. Restart the Probe

  • Remove the battery from the probe and wait for 10 seconds.

  • Reinsert the battery and try reconnecting the probe to your device.

3. Check the Battery

  • Replace the battery with a new one if the probe still doesn’t work. The battery might be dead.

4. Test with Another Device

  • Try connecting the probe to a different device.

    • If it connects to the second device, the issue might be with the first device.

    • If it doesn’t connect to the second device, the problem may be with the probe itself.

5. Verify Temperature Readings

  • If the probe connects but reads temperatures incorrectly, you might need to replace the probe’s needle.

6. Check the Warranty

  • Contact Jolt Tech Support to check if your probe is still under warranty. If it is, you might be eligible for a repair or replacement.

7. Replace Parts

  • Visit the Supplies Page on the Jolt Web Portal for information on replacing any parts or obtaining new ones.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please reach out to Jolt Tech Support for further assistance.
