Set Display and Due Times
Click on +New Display Time to define when the list should appear and be due. Multiple schedules can be created for a single list (e.g., daily cleaning lists).
Bump Lists Option: If Bump Lists is enabled, the new list will replace the previous one at the next scheduled time. If not enabled, lists will stack until completed. For more details, refer to the article Understanding List Submission Settings.
Define Due Time:
Select Due @: Choose the due time based on:
Minutes
Hours
Days
Weeks
Months
Set Expiration Time
Decide how long after the due time the list will expire. Once the expiration period has passed, the list instance will be removed from the tablet and can no longer be completed. This helps in keeping your lists organized. Leave the expiration field blank if you do not want the list to expire.
Set Repeat Days
Days of the Week: Highlight specific days when the list should appear.
Occurrence in Month: Choose which weeks of the month the list should display.
Days of the Month: Select specific days of the month for the list to appear.
Every Interval: Pick a start date and the interval for repeating (e.g., every 2 weeks).
Note: Since lists are generated a day in advance, it’s best to make schedule changes at least 24 hours in advance of when the list is needed to display.
Set Repeat Months
Months to Repeat: Select which months the list should appear in.
Ranges: Define a date range for seasonal lists or other specific time periods.
Save Your Changes
Save All Changes: Make sure to save your settings before leaving the page to ensure that your list schedule is updated correctly.
Advanced List Schedule Rules for Publishers
If you change a content group list schedule, list generation runs immediately for the locations in the content group.
List generation will create tomorrow’s lists when the schedule change is saved.
Any instances that have not displayed will be updated with the schedule changes.
If the content group has subscribers, a task is set up to run in 5 minutes to send the template changes to the subscriber.
Once the task runs, the subscriber template will be updated.
List generation does not run for subscribers at that time, but it will run when it is scheduled to run for each subscriber.
If list generation has already run for a subscriber when the change is made to the content group list template, that subscriber will not pick up the change until the following day’s list generation is run.
This can be worked around by the subscriber by making some small change to the subscriber version of the list template which causes their list gen job to run immediately.
