Creating and Managing List Schedules in Jolt

With Jolt's List Scheduling feature, you can automate when your lists appear, how long they are due, and when they expire. This ensures tasks are completed on time and helps maintain an organized workflow. Follow these steps to create and manage your List Schedules effectively.

Important Keywords: List schedule, recurring schedule, due time, expiration time, Jolt Web Portal, list automation.

**1. Access List Scheduling

  • Login to the Jolt Web Portal: Go to Jolt Web Portal.

  • Navigate to Lists: Click on Lists > Edit Lists.

**2. Create or Edit a List

  • Create a New List: Select Create a List or Edit an Existing List as needed.

  • Go to Settings Tab: Click on the Settings tab for the selected list.

**3. Add a New List Schedule

  • Select +New List Schedule: Click on +New List Schedule to start setting up your schedule.

**4. Set Display and Due Times

  • Add Display Times: Click on +New Display Times to define when the list should appear and be due. Multiple schedules can be created for a single list (e.g., daily cleaning lists).

    • Bump Lists Option: If Bump Lists is enabled, the new list will replace the previous one at the next scheduled time. If not enabled, lists will stack until completed. For more details, refer to the List Submission Settings.

  • Define Due Time:

    • Select Due @: Choose the due time based on:

      • Minutes

      • Hours

      • Days

      • Weeks

      • Months

**5. Set Expiration Time

  • Choose Expiration Time: Decide how long after the due time the list will expire. Once the expiration period has passed, the list instance will be removed from the tablet and can no longer be completed. This helps in keeping your lists organized. Leave the expiration field blank if you do not want the list to expire.

**6. Set Repeat Days

  • Days of the Week: Highlight specific days when the list should appear.

  • Occurrence in Month: Choose which weeks of the month the list should display.

  • Days of the Month: Select specific days of the month for the list to appear.

  • Every Interval: Pick a start date and the interval for repeating (e.g., every 2 weeks).

**7. Set Repeat Months

  • Months to Repeat: Select which months the list should appear in.

  • Ranges: Define a date range for seasonal lists or other specific time periods.

**8. Save Your Changes

  • Save All Changes: Make sure to save your settings before leaving the page to ensure that your list schedule is updated correctly.
