Overview: The "At Print Time" label item allows you to include dynamic information on your labels that is only known at the moment of printing. This is useful for variable information such as a customer's name or a specific weight.

Instructions

1. Log In and Navigate to Label Templates

  1. Log into the Jolt Web Portal and go to Labeling β†’ Label Templates.

  2. Click on the label template you want to edit.

2. Add an At Print Time Label Item

  1. Select the area of the label template where you want to add the item.

  2. Choose an item type under the "Entered When Printed" section:

    • Text Item: Prompts the user to enter alphanumeric characters.

    • FDA Net Weight: Prompts for a weight value in FDA-required format.

    • Date/Time Input: Prompts the user to select a date and time.

    • Number: Prompts the user to enter a numeric value.

3. Define the Input Label

  1. Provide an "Input Label" that instructs the user what to enter (e.g., "# Chicken Breasts").

4. Print the Label

  1. When printing, the user will be prompted to enter the required information, which will then appear on the label.
