Day of the Week Label Template
Overview
This guide will help you create and use a Day of the Week label template in the Jolt Web Portal. These labels can be ordered from the Shopping Cart and require using a specific template in Jolt.
Jolt Web Portal Setup
Log in to the Jolt Web Portal and navigate to Labeling > Label Templates.
Create a New Template — click the green New Template button, name your template, and select Transact 2.187"x1.1" or Transact 2.187"x2" from the Starter Template menu. Click Create.
Customize the Template — the top section displays the day of the week (set Duration Field Name to Cook Time, Consume By, Enjoy By, or Expiration). The bottom section holds item name, prep date, duration, employee name, etc. Add rows with the + button.
Save the template once all fields are added.
Create Labels — go to the Labels tab to create labels for this template.
Jolt App Setup
Navigate to Settings > Printers, select the printer used with Day of the Week labels, and change Label Orientation to Inverted.
When printed, the label will black out all days except the expiration day.
