How to Request Time Off Using the Jolt App
When you need a break from your regular schedule, you can request time off using the Jolt App. This feature ensures that your availability is updated, and your schedule is adjusted accordingly if your request is approved. Keep in mind that your organization’s Schedule Settings may dictate when you can request time off, including notice periods, blackout dates, and limits on the number of people who can be off on the same day.
Submitting a Time Off Request
Open the Jolt App:
Log in with your credentials.
Select Schedule from the navigation menu.
Navigate to Time Off Requests:
On the Dashboard, scroll down and tap Time Off.
Select Request Time Off on the following page.
Select Dates:
Choose the date or dates you need off on the calendar.
To select a range of days, tap the Start Date and then the End Date. The selected range will be highlighted.
Specify Time Frame:
Tap Continue.
Confirm if the request is for All Day or a specific Time Frame. Tap All Day to switch to a specific time frame if needed.
Enter a Reason:
Provide a reason for your time off request in the designated text box.
Tap Submit Request to send your request for approval.
Request Status:
Your request will be marked as Pending Review.
Scheduling Managers will receive a notification of your request. You will stay scheduled for your shifts until the request is approved.
You can check the status of your request anytime in the app, and if notifications are enabled, you will receive updates on your request’s status.

Access the Jolt App:
Open the app and select Schedule from the menu.
Navigate to Manage Requests:
Go to the Manage page.
Select the Pending tab to view all pending time off requests from your team.
Review and Respond:
Tap on any request to view the details.
Choose to Approve or Deny the request based on the information provided.
