How to Delete List Instances Directly in the Jolt App

Overview

Deleting list instances in the Jolt App is straightforward and allows you to remove individual lists when needed. For bulk removal, refer to the article Deactivate List Instances | Browse Lists. Note that this functionality is only available in the Jolt App, not in Jolt Legacy.

Prerequisites

To delete list instances, you must have one of the following admin roles:

  • Device Admin

  • Location Website Admin

  • Content Group Admin

  • Company Admin

If you are not sure about your admin role or need help with permissions, check with your system administrator.

Steps to Delete a List Instance

1. Log In to the Jolt App

  • Open the Jolt App on your device.

  • Enter your login credentials and sign in.

2. Navigate to the List

  • Go to the Lists section within the Jolt App.

  • Find the list instance you want to delete.

3. Open List Options

  • Locate the list instance you wish to delete.

  • In the top right corner of the list, tap the three dots (⋮) to open the options menu.

4. Delete the List

  • From the options menu, select Delete List.

  • A confirmation window will appear.

5. Confirm Deletion

  • Confirm that you want to delete the list by selecting Confirm.

Additional Information

  • Manual Lists: If you manually created the list using the blue + button, you can delete it yourself by following the steps above.

  • Bulk Removal: For removing multiple list instances at once, refer to the article Deactivate List Instances | Browse Lists for bulk deletion methods.

Troubleshooting

  • If you cannot see the option to delete: Ensure you have the necessary admin permissions and that you are using the Jolt App, not Jolt Legacy.

  • If the list does not delete: Try restarting the app or checking your internet connection. If issues persist, contact your system administrator.
