How to Add a List Item in Jolt

Summary: This guide will help you add and customize list items in your checklists or forms using the Jolt Web Portal. List items come with various settings to fit your needs.

Getting Started

  1. Log In to the Jolt Web Portal:

    • Open the Jolt Web Portal in your browser.

    • Log in with your credentials.

  2. Access the Lists Section:

    • Navigate to Lists and then Edit Lists.

  3. Create or Edit a List:

    • To start, either create a new list or edit an existing one.

  4. Add a New List Item:

    • Click the blue Add button.

    • Select New Item from the dropdown menu.

    • You will see a variety of 19 different item types to choose from. Select the type that best fits your needs.

Customizing List Items

  1. Enter Prompt Text:

    • Provide a clear prompt text for the item (e.g., “Clean windows” or “Take out trash”).

    • This is the task or action that needs to be completed.

  2. Set Points:

    • Assign a point value to the item. Points are awarded when the task is completed.

  3. Allow Users to Mark as N/A:

    • Decide if the item is required or optional.

    • You can make the item optional or allow users to mark it as N/A (Not Applicable) or Out of Order.

Using the Information Library

  1. Upload Files:

    • Choose a file to upload and attach it to the list item.

    • Files can be viewed directly from the list item.

Sharing Options (For Content Group Mode)

  1. Allow Deactivation:

    • Enable locations to deactivate this item if it’s not relevant to them.

  2. Allow Editing of Prompt Text:

    • Allow locations to change the prompt text of this item if needed.

  • Measurement List Item:
