Prompt text: Enter the description for the item (e.g., Tomatoes, Freezer 1, Cash Drawer, etc.)
Unit of Measurement: Select a unit of measurement from the dropdown, or you can add a custom unit.
Ranges: (Optional) Add a range to use flags or trigger a notification or corrective action.
Adding a range lets you set a target for the value entered on the app. You can trigger different actions depending on whether the value is inside or outside the range.
If there is no min or max on your range, you can leave the box empty.
You can add up to 3 ranges that work with flags and corrective actions.
Available input methods: This option lets you control where temperature readings can come from. You must specify at least one option and users who complete this list will be required to use the method of entry you authorize. The input method can be overridden and manually entered by a user with device admin permissions on the device.
Manual Input: Allows users to enter values manually on the numeric pad.
Temperature Probe: Use a compatible Bluetooth probe for temperature measurements.
Sensor: Record data using Jolt Remote Temperature Sensors. For more on sensors, see Configuring and Recording Data from Sensors in Lists.
Configure Saved Value: (Optional) Enable this option to save frequently used numbers, reducing data entry errors and saving time. The app will remember the last value entered on an instance of this list and default the same value into the measurement item on the next list.
Flags: (Optional) Set flags based on the item’s answer. The flags will display on the app when a value is entered and can trigger a green, red, yellow, or blue results screen to grab their attention. Flags can also be counted by Yes/No items to autocomplete Yes or No depending on a count of flags on other items. For more information see the How to Set Up and Use Flags in Lists on the Jolt Web Portal article.
Corrective Action or Notification: If a range is set, you can configure corrective actions or notifications for values outside this range. For more information, refer to How to Set Up Corrective Actions for Measurement Items in Jolt.
