How to Record Temperatures Using the Temperature Probe in the Jolt App

This guide will help you get started with using the Temperature Probe in the Jolt App to record temperatures. Make sure your Temperature Probe is set up before following these steps.

1. Access the List

  1. Open the Jolt App.
Launch the Jolt App on your device.

  2. Select a List.
Go to the list where you need to record temperatures. If the list is not visible, choose one to display it.

2. Start Using the Temperature Probe

  1. Choose the List Item.
Tap on the list item where you want to record the temperature.

  2. Recording Temperature:

    • Automatic Recording:
If the probe stabilizes within the set temperature range, it will automatically record the temperature. You can adjust the Auto Record and Stabilization Settings by selecting the settings icon.

    • Manual Recording:
If the probe does not stabilize within the set range, you need to record the temperature manually. You can do this by either:

      • Selecting Record on the App
Tap the "Record" button on the Jolt App.

      • Using the Probe Button
Press the button on the Temperature Probe itself.

3. Entering Temperature Manually

  • For Optional or Not Allowed Probes:
If the Temperature Probe is optional or not allowed for a particular item, you can manually enter the temperature using the numeric pad on the app.

4. Finalize the List

  • Complete Your Task:
Once you have recorded all necessary temperatures, finalize the list by tapping the "Sweep" or "Submit" button in the app.

Additional Tips:

  • Device Admin Settings:
Device Admins can override settings to allow or disallow the use of temperature probes. Check with your admin if you encounter any issues.

  • Adjust Settings:
You can modify settings such as Auto Record and Stabilization to fit your needs. Explore the settings icon to customize these options.
