How to Move a List from Location Mode to Content Group Mode
Moving a list from Location Mode to Content Group Mode allows you to share it across multiple locations. Note that once you move a list to Content Group Mode, this action cannot be undone.
Prerequisites
You must have one of the following admin roles: Content Group Admin or Company Admin.
Instructions
Log in to the Jolt Web Portal
Open your web browser and log in to the Jolt Web Portal using your credentials.
Switch to Content Group Mode
In the top-right corner of the page, ensure that Content Group Mode is selected. This mode allows you to manage lists across multiple locations.
Navigate to the Lists Section
Go to Lists in the left-side menu and select Edit Lists.
Select the Location Folder
On the left side menu, choose the Location Folder. You need to select a list from this folder to move it to Content Group Mode.
Choose the List
Click on the list you want to move. Then, click the three dots (•••) on the right side of the list.
Move to Content Group
From the dropdown menu, select "Move to Content Group".
Confirm the Move
A confirmation message will appear asking if you want to proceed. Click “Move” to confirm and move the list to the Content Group.
Verify the Move
Once the list is moved, it will be displayed in Content Group Mode. You can now manage and share it across multiple locations.
Important Notes
Irreversible Action: Moving a list to Content Group Mode cannot be undone. Ensure that this action is necessary for your workflow before proceeding.
