Location Settings in the Jolt Web Portal

What are Location Settings?

Location Settings in the Jolt Web Portal allow you to customize settings specific to each location. These settings will override any general Company Settings for that particular location. This is useful for managing location-specific preferences and configurations.

How do I access and manage Location Settings?

  1. Log in to the Jolt Web Portal:

    • Visit Jolt Web Portal and log in with your credentials.

  2. Navigate to Location Settings:

    • Go to Settings in the navigation menu.

    • Click on Locations to view and manage settings for different locations.

    • Select the specific location you want to configure.

What should I configure in Location Settings?

  1. Contact Information:

    • Input contact details specific to the physical location. This helps in maintaining accurate records and communication for that site.

  2. Time Settings:

    • Set the time zone according to the physical location of the store or office. Make sure to use the correct local time zone rather than the company's central time zone.

  3. Additional Settings:

    • Scheduling Settings: For details on scheduling configurations, refer to the Scheduling Settings article.

    • Time Clock Settings: Learn more about time clock configurations by reading the Time Clock Settings article.

    • List Blackout Ranges: For information on managing blackout periods for lists, see the List Blackout Ranges article.

    • Device and Location Access: Refer to the Enable List Completion | Web Portal and Jolt Lite article for setting up access for devices and locations.

    • Credit Card Management: For managing billing and credit card details, consult the Credit Card Management article.

How do Location Mode and Content Group Mode differ?

  • Location Mode: Settings are specific to individual locations and override any company-wide settings.

  • Content Group Mode: Settings are managed for groups of content and can be applied across multiple locations.

To switch between Location Mode and Content Group Mode, use the dropdown menu in the settings interface.
