Managing Company Settings in the Jolt Web Portal

This guide explains how to configure company-specific settings in the Jolt Web Portal. These settings are overridden by location-specific settings. You'll also learn how to switch between Company and Location settings and understand the different modes, such as Location Mode vs. Content Group Mode.

Accessing Company Settings

1. Log in to the Jolt Web Portal

  1. Go to the Jolt Web Portal and log in with your credentials.

2. Navigate to Company Settings

  1. Click on Settings in the main menu.

  2. Select Company from the dropdown.

Configuring Company Settings

1. Contact Information

  • Purpose: This section allows you to input the main contact information for your company, such as a corporate office or the primary location.

  • Action: Enter the appropriate contact details. This information is used for general company-wide communications.

2. Time Settings

  • Purpose: Ensures the time displayed in the portal is accurate for your store’s physical location.

  • Action: Set the timezone to match the physical location of the store, not the company's headquarters. This ensures accurate timekeeping and scheduling.

3. Employee Settings

a. Employee Login Timeout

  • Purpose: Controls how long an employee stays logged into the Jolt App on Apple or Android devices before needing to log in again.

  • Action: Set the timeout duration in minutes. This is a default setting for all employees but can be customized for specific roles if needed.

b. Hide Employee Pins

  • Purpose: Manages who can view employee pins (personal identification numbers) on the Web Portal.

  • Action: Enable this setting to restrict visibility of employee pins to only Company Admins. This hides pins from Content Group and Location Website Admins.
