Setting a Daily Limit for Time Off Requests on the Jolt Web Portal

This guide will walk you through setting a daily limit for time off requests to manage how many employees in the same role can request the same day off.

Prerequisites

To set a daily limit for time off requests, you must have at least one of the following admin roles:

  • Location Website Admin

  • Content Group Admin

  • Company Admin

Steps to Set a Daily Limit

  1. Log In to the Jolt Web Portal

    • Access the Jolt Web Portal and log in with your admin credentials.

  2. Navigate to Role Settings

    • Go to Settings in the main menu, then select Roles.

  3. Create or Edit a Role

    • Choose an existing role you want to configure or create a new role by clicking on Create New Role.

  4. Set the Daily Limit

    • In the field labeled Time Off Request Daily Limit, enter the maximum number of employees who can request the same day off within this role.

    • Example: If you enter 3, up to 3 employees in this role can request the same day off. Once this limit is reached, no additional requests for that day will be allowed for employees in this role.

  5. Save Your Changes

    • Ensure you save the changes to apply the new daily limit.

Tips:

  • Setting a daily limit helps ensure that not too many employees in the same role are off on the same day, which can help maintain coverage and avoid scheduling conflicts.

  • Adjust the limit based on the needs of your team and the capacity of your workplace.
