Linking site assets to Jolt locations

Jolt Audits & Inspections creates a link between a site asset and a Jolt location. A site asset represents an inspection site linked to a Jolt location, which allows an auditor to create a follow-up list in the selected location to address issues.

When a site asset is added to your list (manually or bulk import), Jolt automatically attempts to link the site asset to a Jolt location (either publisher or subscriber location) by the store ID.

Users with company admin, content group admin, and location website admin permissions can manage this area.

  1. Log in to the Jolt web app and select the content group that contains the location you would like to link to the site asset. Navigate to settings > locations and click on the name of the location. Make sure the External Location ID is added under the location settings page.

  2. Click save to apply changes.

  3. Next, navigate to audits & inspections > sites. Click the unlinked button to filter the list and identify an asset that needs to be linked (use column sorting and filtering if needed).

  4. Select the launch icon next to the site asset to open the side sheet, then enter the store ID (the same one in the location settings page).

  5. Click save to apply changes.

  6. In the site sheet, click the link asset button, then click save. The site asset should be linked to the Jolt location.
