How to Add Information Library Content Directly from the Jolt App
Only a Device Admin can add content to the Information Library using the Jolt App. For more details on admin roles, refer to the article Role-based Admin Access.
Follow these steps to add media content from the Jolt App:
Log In
Open the Jolt App and log in using your 4-digit PIN.
Access the Library
Navigate to the Library section within the app.
Start Adding Content
Tap the blue + button at the bottom of the screen to begin adding new content.
Select Category and Subcategory
Choose a Category and Subcategory from the drop-down menus. This helps organize your content effectively.
Choose Media Type
Decide whether to use:
Photo Camera: To take a new photo.
Video Camera: To record a new video.
Video & Photo Library: To select existing photos or videos from your device's library.
Save Your Media
After taking a photo or recording a video, press the Save button.
Enter a Name for the file and tap Save to store it in the Information Library.
Using the Photo Library Option
If you chose the Photo Library option, your device’s photo folder will open. Here, you can select any photo taken on the device, whether inside or outside the Jolt App.
Additional Tips:
Ensure you have the correct admin permissions to perform these actions.
Properly categorize your media for easier retrieval and management.
