How to Add Media to the Information Library in Jolt

Prerequisites:

  • Admin Access Required: You must have at least one of the following admin roles to add media: Location Website Admin, Content Group Admin, or Company Admin.

  • No Storage Limits: There is no limit on the number of files you can upload.

  • Attach Media: For attaching media to list items, see Add Media to a List Item.

  • Edit Privacy Settings: Learn to adjust file privacy in Edit File Permissions.

Instructions:

  1. Login to the Jolt Web Portal

    • Go to the Jolt Web Portal and log in with your credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Information Library

    • Click on Information from the main menu.

  3. Create or Open a Category

    • Create a Category: If you need a new category, click Create New Category.

    • Open an Existing Category: If you want to use an existing one, select it from the list.

  4. Manage Subcategories

    • Create a Subcategory: Click Create New Subcategory to organize your media.

    • Open a Subcategory: Select an existing subcategory if applicable.

  5. Upload Your Media

    • Upload Files: Choose Upload File to add files from your computer. Ensure they are in a supported format.

    • Create Custom Files: Use the Create Custom File option to add text or link files.

  6. Edit File Permissions

    • Set Permissions: Click on Edit Permissions to allow or restrict access to specific roles.

    • Adjust Access: Ensure that only authorized users can view or manage the files.

  7. Manage Files

    • Sort Files: Organize files as needed.

    • Edit Files: Make changes to file details or content.

    • Delete Files: Remove files that are no longer needed.
