Creating and Using Multiple Choice Templates in the Jolt Web Portal

This guide will help you create and use Multiple Choice templates for lists in the Jolt Web Portal. Templates allow you to reuse multiple-choice questions across different lists efficiently.

Prerequisites

To create or use Multiple Choice templates, you must have Location Website Admin access.

Steps to Create and Apply Multiple Choice Templates

  1. Log In to the Jolt Web Portal

    • Open your web browser and log in to the Jolt Web Portal.

  2. Navigate to Lists

    • Go to Lists from the main menu.

    • Click on Edit Lists to manage your lists.

  3. Create or Edit a List

    • To create a new list, click Create New List. To edit an existing list, select the list you want to modify.

  4. Add a Multiple Choice Item

    • Click the blue Add button.

    • Select New Item - Multiple Choice from the dropdown menu.

  5. Enter Prompt Text

    • In the Prompt Text field, enter the question or statement for your multiple-choice item.

  6. Choose a Template Option

    • Under Multiple Choice, you have two options:

      • Create New: Select this option to create a new template. After you finish creating the template, it will be saved for future use once you save the list.

      • Use Template: Select this option to use an existing template. You can choose a template from the list and make any necessary edits.

  7. Save Your Changes

    • Click Save to apply your changes to the list. Ensure all modifications are saved before leaving the page.

  • Creating New Templates: When creating a new template, think about questions or options that are commonly used across different lists. This will save time when setting up future lists.

  • Editing Templates: If you use an existing template, review and adjust the options as needed to fit the current list's requirements.
