How to Create and Apply Shift Templates in the Jolt Web Portal
Shift Templates are a powerful tool that allows you to save and reuse weekly schedules. This feature helps streamline your scheduling process by enabling you to quickly apply pre-defined shift patterns to future weeks.
Prerequisites
Ensure you have at least one of the following admin roles: Location Website Admin, Content Group Admin, or Company Admin.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Log In to the Jolt Web Portal
Use your credentials to access the Jolt Web Portal.
Navigate to the Scheduling Section
Go to Scheduling > Make Schedule.
Create a Shift Template
Create a New Schedule: Either create a new weekly schedule or load an existing schedule from past weeks.
Select Shift Templates: Click on Shift Templates and then select Create New Shift Template.
Name Your Template: Enter a descriptive name for your template (e.g., “Weekly Schedule A”).
Save Your Template: Click Save. This action saves all the shifts you have set up for the selected week.
You can create multiple shift templates to cover different scheduling needs.
Apply a Shift Template
Select a Week: Go to the week where you want to apply the shift template (it can be a blank week or an existing week).
Choose Your Template: Click on Shift Templates and then select Apply Shift Template.
Choose Your Option:
Apply and Merge: Applies the template while keeping any existing shifts intact.
Apply and Replace: Applies the template and removes any existing shifts.
Confirm Your Choice: Confirm your selection to apply the template.
