Report Purpose

  • Daily Temperature Log lets you review all of the measurement items across all lists for a specific location on a specific day.

  • The primary use case for the report is to provide a log to an auditor or for showing compliance with HACCP protocols.

Report Value

  • All lists with temperature items are included automatically; there is no need to select lists.

  • Easily provide a hard copy of all temperatures take for a day.

  • Quickly spot list where temperatures are out of compliance with your standards.

  • The report includes temperature readings taken by sensor or probe and includes readings entered manually.

    • Probe icon - temperature came from probe reading.

    • Sensor icon - temperature came from sensor sensor reading.

    • Red calculator icon - temperature was manually entered.

  • Red-shaded cells highlight temperature readings out of the food safety range defined on the item.

  • Yellow-shaded cells highlight temperatures that were in the food safety range but outside the food quality range.

Customer Story

  • One location of a quick service chain received a report from a customer claiming they contracted a food-borne illness. When the complaint was referred to their legal department, the general manager forwarded a copy of the daily temperature log to their attorney showing that all temperatures taken that day were within HACCP guidelines.
