This guide will walk you through setting up your Jolt Print Station (JPS)

BEFORE YOU START
Confirm internet access While the JPS 2000 communicates directly with the printer through a hardwired connection, the Jolt App does need an internet connection to
stay updated.
Depending on your situation you may need to coordinate with your network administrator to connect your JPS display to the correct wireless network with the proper credentials.
STEP 1 - Prepare your the printers
After removing the JPS from the packaging, follow these steps to set up your JPS
Connect to power
Position the display
Loosen the wingnut(s) on the display stand (if applicable) and Raise the display until it is upright.
Tighten the wingnut(s) to keep the display in place
Power on the JPS Printers
Turn on the printer(s) by pressing the power button on each printer. The orange status light will turn on
within 30 seconds the light will turn green
Load labels in the printers
Slide the tabs on each side of the printer forward to unlock and open the lid. The printer will automatically go into a "paused" state when the lid is open.
inside the printer, pull apart the yellow label holders and place a roll of labels between those holders.
Feed the end of the roll of labels under the yellow guides, stickers facing up, onto the roller at the front of the printer. ** Check that the roll of labels can spin freely**
Close the lid an press the Pause button to cancel the "Paused" state.
*PLEASE NOTE * - sometimes printers will feed a label or two out of the front when the lid is closed, this is expected behavior and it aligns the labels.
STEP 2 - JOLT APP SETUP
Turn on the JPS display
Connect to the Internet
STEP 3 - CONNECT TO YOUR ACCOUNT
If you see the sing-in Screen, connect the JPS to your Jolt Account; otherwise, skp this step
Tap sign in (ADMIN ONLY)
If you are a Jolt Admin, tap "sign in" where you can sign in to Jolt with your username and password.
Connect to a location (NON ADMIN)
If you are not an Admin in Jolt, tap "Connect to a location" and follow the on-screen steps to scan a location QR code. The JPS display has a built-in camera on the back side.
If prompted, select the location that matches where your team will use the JPS
Tap CONTINUE then START DOWNLOAD to download the required account and labeling information to your JPS
STEP 4 - PRINTER SETTINGS
Navigate to the LABELS MODULE
Tap the three dots in the top right corner to open the action menu, then tap PRINTER SETTINGS
on the left side of the screen, tap LABELS then select the matching label size.
If prompted, tap RUN CALIBRATION to align the print area to the labels
Press the "Test alignment" button at the bottom of the screen to print a test label and adjust the settings if necessary. Exit Printer Settings once you've finished configuring the JPS printers.
