Benefits of Enforcing Unique PINs
If everyone at a location has a unique PIN, users can skip selecting their name before entering their PIN to log in on a shared device — creating a much faster login experience.
Setting Unique PINs
Method 1 — For locations with few people or duplicate PINs:
Navigate to the People tab in the Jolt Web Portal.
Click the PIN column header to sort by PIN and identify duplicates.
Click the person with a duplicate PIN → update their PIN in the Shared Device Access panel → Save.
Method 2 — Using Bulk Edit:
Navigate to the People tab → click Bulk Edit.
Update all PINs that need changes, then click Save All.
