Clone Labels and Templates
Learn how to clone labels and templates to create editable copies without altering the originals.
Cloning a Label
Requires Location Website Admin, Content Group Admin, or Company Admin access.
Log in and go to Labeling → Labels.
Select the label you want to clone.
Click the 3 dots in the top right corner and select the clone option.
Confirm the clone when prompted. The new label appears with "clone" in its name.
Edit and Save the cloned label as needed.
Cloning a Template
Go to Labeling → Label Templates.
Select the template to clone.
Click the 3 dots and select the clone option.
Confirm when prompted. The cloned template appears with "clone" in its name.
Edit and Save as needed.
FAQs
Q: Does cloning affect the original? No — cloning creates a separate copy. Changes to the clone do not affect the original.
Q: How do I identify the clone? "clone" is appended to the name automatically.
