Edit File Permissions

Overview: Control access to files in the Information Library by setting permission settings. This ensures that only certain roles can view or edit confidential or private information.

Prerequisites:

  • Admin Access Required: You must have at least one of the following admin roles:

    • Location Website Admin

    • Content Group Admin

    • Company Admin

Instructions:

1. Log into the Jolt Web Portal:

  • Open your web browser and log in to the Jolt Web Portal with your admin credentials.

2. Navigate to the Information Library:

  • Go to the Information section.

3. Select a File:

  • Choose a Category and then open the Subcategory where the file is located.

  • Click on the file you want to set permissions for.

4. Edit File Permissions:

  • Click on Edit File Permissions.

5. Set Permissions:

  • You can choose to Share with everyone or Select specific Roles to have access.

    • For example, set permissions for private information intended for employees or specific files like recipes.
