To clean the printhead and platen roller
Open the media door and access the printhead.
Utilize a Zebra Preventative Maintenance Cleaning Swab or a lint-free cloth moistened with a solution of 9-parts isopropyl alcohol and 1-part de-ionized water to gently wipe along the brown strip on the printhead.
Don't forget to clean the platen roller as well using the same solution.
