ZT111 Printer - How to Clear a Head Open Error on a ZT111 Printer

When your ZT111 printer encounters a head open error, you'll typically see a steady red STATUS light and a solid yellow PAUSE light

To clear a printhead open error please complete the following steps:

Step 1 - Open the media door.

Step 2 - Examine the Printhead Assembly to ensure that the Printhead is closed.

Step 3 - If that doesn't clear the error, examine the PRINTHEAD CLOSED SENSOR to ensure it's free from debris, dust or contamination. You can use a dry lint-free cloth to wipe off the sensor eye.

If those steps are complete and it doesn't clear the error, please open then printhead and power off the device. Then close the printhead completely and power back on the printer.
