This article will go over the process for calibrating an MGT series weight scales.
These instructions are only for the MGT-30 and MGT-60 model scales.
A calibration weight is required to complete this process
***This process should only be attempted by a certified weights and measure technician or inspector.***
To calibrate your MG-T 30 or MG-T 60 scale follow the below numbered directions.
Press the
Key to turn on scale. press the
Key during start up: the display will show "F0 BL"press the
Key until display shows "TECH"***Before Entering the Tech Parameter, you must press the calibration switch. The Switch is located underneath the scale. ***
To Access the switch you must first remove the wire tamper seal
Then remove the bolt closer to the edge of the scale that is on the ridge
Use a small diameter screwdriver or unfolded paper clip to reach in and press the switch.
Press the
Key to confirm; the display will show "APPROV"Press the
key to select "P1 CAL"Press the
key to confirm: the display will show "CAL LB"Press the
key to select "CAL lb" or "CAL kg" Press the
key to confirm; the display will show "UNLOAD"Press the
key: the display will show the current calibration weight value. Press the
key to confirm; the display will show "load"Place the test weight on the platter.
Once the stable indicator is shown on the display, press the
key; the display will show "PASS" and enter normal weighing mode.
