Translating List Content in Jolt

Overview: This guide explains how to export lists from Jolt to a CSV file, add language translations, and then import the translated content back into Jolt. This allows you to view lists in different languages while using the Jolt app.

Requirements

  • App Language vs. List Content Languages:

    • The app language affects button labels and menus and is available in languages such as Czech, German, English, Spanish, and more.

    • List content refers to the item descriptions on the lists, which can be in any language and translated via CSV files.

  • Feature Availability:

    • This feature is available on the List Index page.

    • Exporting and importing lists for translation requires familiarity with spreadsheets and file formats.

    • Lists already displayed in the app will not pick up new translations until they are re-imported.
