Quick Answer: To swap labels on your JPS 2000, physically move the label rolls between printers, set both printers to 1x1 in the Printers settings, then update each printer to its correct label size and run calibration. Follow the steps below for full details.
If you need to change the labels on your printers, follow these steps to update the settings and ensure your labels print correctly.
Step 1: Physically Swap Labels
Physically swap your label sizes from one printer to the other. (Example: move your 2x8 labels into your 1x1 printer and your 1x1 labels into your 2x8 printer.)
Step 2: Set Both Printers to 1x1
Go to the Settings button on the left side of the screen.
Click on the Printers tab.
Click on one of your printer names (example: 50N221345387).
Click on the Label Size tab.
Change label size to 1x1.
Click Save (it will ask you to run a calibration β click "Not Now").
Repeat Step 2 for the other printer.
Step 3: Update Each Printer to Its Correct Label Size
At this point both printers should be set to 1x1 and have the labels physically swapped.
Find the serial number on the physical printer (behind the label roll).
Go to Settings on the left side of the screen.
Click on the Printers tab.
Find the printer name that matches the serial number of the physical printer and click on it.
Click on the Labels tab.
Change the label size to match the labels physically loaded in that printer. (Example: if your printer has 2x8 labels loaded, select 2.2x8.)
Repeat Step 3 for the other printer.
Step 4: Calibrate the Printers and Test
At this point both printers should be set to their new label size with the correct labels loaded.
Run Calibration:
After making any changes to the label sizes or alignment, run calibration to ensure your printer is correctly configured for the new label size.
Tap the "Run Calibration" button under the "Calibration" header.
