How to swap your labels for your JPS 2000

If you need to change the labels around on your printer , follow these easy steps to update the settings and ensure your labels print correctly.

Step 1: Physically Swapping labels around

  1. Physically swap you label sizes from one printer to the other. (ex: your 2x8 labels into your 1x1 printer and your 1x1 labels into your 2x8 printer)

Step 2: Set both printers to 1x1

  1. Go to the settings button on the left side of the screen.

  2. Click on the "printers" tab.

  3. Click on one of you printers names (ex: 50N221345387)

  4. Click on "label size" tab.

  5. Change label size to 1x1.

  6. Click save (it will ask you to run a calibration just click "not now").

Repeat step 2 for the other printer.

Step 3: Change to correct printer to its correct size.

At this point both printers should be set to 1x1 and have the labels swapped around.

  1. Find serial number on the physical printer (behind the label roll)

  2. Go to settings on the left side of the screen.

  3. click on the "printers: tab.

  4. Find the printer name with the same Serial number as the physical printer and click on the name.

  5. Lick on the "labels" tab.

  6. Change the label size to the labels that are in the printer with the same serial number. (ex: my printer has 2.8 labels in them so I am going to change the label; size to 2.2x8).

Repeat step 3 for the other printer.

Step 4: Calibrate the printers and test

At this point both printers should be set to there new size and have have the new size of labels psychically in them.

  1. Run Calibration Again:

    • After making any changes to the label sizes or alignment, it’s important to run calibration again.

    • Tap the “Run Calibration” button under the “Calibration” header to ensure your printer is correctly set up for the new label size.
